Previously, as a Quantum Computation Scientist at IBM Quantum, he contributed to groundbreaking advancements in quantum algorithms and AI integration. Dr. Haq is also the founder of the Kashmiri Institute of Mathematical Sciences (KIMS), a nonprofit dedicated to fostering research and transformative education. Passionate about mentoring startups, he guides innovators in integrating AI and quantum solutions. His work has empowered businesses globally to leverage cutting-edge technologies, transforming ideas into impactful solutions. Junaid Akhter

Cofounder and CTO (CQAI)

Junaid Akhter is a computational physicist and entrepreneur with extensive experience in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Quantum AI. As the CTO of Chinar Quantum AI, Junaid drives technological innovation, developing advanced AI and Quantum Machine Learning solutions that bridge quantum computing with classical systems. With over half a decade of experience in Germany, he has led multidisciplinary R&D teams and fostered collaborations with global universities and industry leaders.

Junaid's research spans Tensor Networks, Optimization Theory, and Physics-Informed AI.

Ivan Kukuljan

COE (AI for Medicine)

Ivan Kukuljan is a Lead Researcher specializing in AI-driven cancer detection at the Center of Excellence in AI and Cancer Detection. He is also a trainer at Chinar Quantum AI, mentoring professionals in AI, Machine Learning, and Quantum Computing. Actively engaged in Germany’s startup ecosystem, Ivan contributes to advancements in bio-printing technology to transform regenerative medicine and personalized healthcare.

Holding a Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics, Ivan has conducted postdoctoral research at the Max Planck Institute and Helmholtz Center Munich, focusing on quantum systems and AI in healthcare. An award-winning researcher and published author, he is proficient in Python, Matlab, and LaTeX, and fluent in multiple languages, including English and Slovenian.

Neelam Firdous Khan

Hi! I’m Neelam, a meteorologist with a master’s from the University of Cologne and currently diving into a PhD at the Jülich Research Centre. I’ve honed my skills in operations at CQAI and now co-lead the consulting wing of CQAI along with international operations. Calm under pressure and always up for a challenge, I love finding smart solutions and thriving in dynamic environments.

Head of Operations

Ifrah Sheikh is an enthusiastic and accomplished professional with a strong academic foundation, holding both a master's and undergraduate degree in her field. Her career reflects a seamless blend of technical expertise and operational acumen, enabling her to tackle complex challenges and deliver effective, innovative solutions.

As Head of Operations, Ifrah leverages her organizational and leadership skills to streamline processes, enhance efficiency, and drive growth. Murtaza Ali

Researcher and Growth Strategist

Murtaza is a researcher at Chinar Quantum AI Centre for Excellence, interested in the complexities of quantum many-body systems and utilizing computational techniques such as the Lanczos recursion method and Krylov subspace methods. His research interests encompass quantum complexity and reservoir computing, with a focus on advancing the field of quantum technologies.

At CQAI, Murtaza is also responsible for driving international growth and expansion strategy, leveraging his expertise to foster global collaborations, explore new markets, and position CQAI as a leader in emerging technologies. He plays a key role in identifying new opportunities for expansion and establishing strategic partnerships to support CQAI's global initiatives.

Zuhaib Khaki

Trainings Lead

Zuhaib is an AI professional and training leader at CQAI. With a strong foundation in mathematics, Zuhaib has successfully transitioned from a technical role as an AI Engineer to a strategic training leader. As the Lead of Trainings at CQAI, he oversees the development and delivery of specialized training programs across various domains. With a strong focus on Data Science and AI, he leads a team of trainers, ensuring impactful learning experiences and industry-aligned content.

He also brings a wealth of experience in mentoring teams to design and execute industry-grade POCs across diverse data analytics and machine learning domains. Prior to assuming the leadership role, Zuhaib honed their technical skills as an AI Engineer at CQAI, contributing significantly to the development of NLP applications and recommender systems.

Sahreen Haider
